Mexican Actor to Miss Mother's Funeral Due to Work Commitments

Mexican actor Édgar Villa 'Villita' from 'La Oficina' revealed he will not be present for the wake and cremation of his mother, who passed away on Sunday in Mexico City. He explained that he previously said goodbye to his mother and traveled to Colombia for work. 'I saw her until her last moment and I was with her until the end, and she had everything ready so they could say goodbye in the physical world,' the actor shared. His friends and acquaintances went to the chapel to support his family, though he had expected no one to come since he wouldn't be there. 'I say goodbye celebrating your life, grateful for all the love,' he added. On Monday, the family held a wake for their mother, and cremation is scheduled for Tuesday. Despite his grief, the actor mentioned the news of the second season of 'La Oficina' on Tuesday morning, which he described as a bittersweet feeling. 'I owe her absolutely nothing and she owes me nothing,' he concluded. He also shared that his mother knew about the series' popularity and was happy about it.
